Kindermusik curricula is research driven, created by child
development and music education specialists.
The Kindermusik curricula is designed for newborns to children
seven years old. Our baby class incorporates intentional touch to
promote the release of important growth hormones, encouraging
vocal play between baby and parent, stimulating early language
development, and much more. After our baby class, we move to
the sensorimotor toddler that loves to explore his/her
environment, providing opportunities for locomotor movement
through group dances. Fine motor movement is strengthened
through instrument manipulation and fingerplays and early reading
skills are developed through story-times. The preschool curricula
enters the wonderful world of imagination, encouraging each child
to bring activities to life, such as using rhythm sticks to build a
pretend toy shop. Finally our early elementary curricula explores
basic music notation, ensemble development, vocal development,
and much more while learning to play the glockenspiel, recorder,
at home, in the car, or wherever you go. Additionally, you receive
an instrument and story books that compliment all class lessons. An
at-home activity guide, provides you with a wealth of activity ideas
based on songs and activities from the semester.
